Recent additions to brand, marketing, and strategy bolster Beyond Definition’s deep roster.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Beyond Definition, a brand and marketing agency located in Silver Spring, Maryland, has added several key additions to its team. The move corresponds with the company’s strategic growth initiatives in 2021, highlighting an emphasis on brand, marketing, and strategy. New to the agency is Stuart Granger, Senior Creative Strategist, and Rich Cook, Senior Web Strategist. Nikki Francois, Account Director, and Jonah Malin, Marketing Coordinator, both joined Beyond Definition in 2020.
“The past twelve months have certainly been a challenging time for agencies in our industry and we’re incredibly proud to be in this position to continue expanding our team,” said Debbie Bates-Schrott, Founder and CEO of Beyond Definition. “It’s a testament to the brand, marketing, and creative work we’ve been executing. These additions will only further the innovative experiences we can provide to clients.”
As many brand and marketing agencies have been forced to shed jobs during the pandemic, Beyond Definition’s new hires demonstrate confidence in the agency’s future.
Granger’s role connects research, brand strategy, and creative execution, injecting perspective and experience into every touchpoint of a project. Bringing an extensive brand and strategy background to Beyond Definition, Granger will continue his passion for building purpose-driven brand strategies and campaigns for a diverse range of clients.
With decades of interactive, creative, and strategic experience, Cook is an integral part of the web discovery and strategy teams. He provides considerable knowledge of website design, development and usability, digital marketing, print, and traditional communications. Prior to Beyond Definition, Cook enjoyed a successful career in broadcast media as an Emmy Award-winning journalist.
Francois oversees the agency’s account team. She brings a decade of experience in strategic communications consulting, leading the development and execution of successful brand-centric integrated campaigns on behalf of a range of clients from the B2B and B2C worlds, as well as in the healthcare, food and beverage, travel and tourism, and home and housewares sectors.
Malin bolsters Beyond Definition’s marketing initiatives, adding years of content strategy and creative writing to the team. Prior to joining the agency, Malin worked on launching and executing integrated brand campaigns for clients in healthcare, AIDC technology, and Salesforce consulting. His writing has been featured in several top digital publications including Better Marketing, Entrepreneurs Handbook, and Ladders.
With these additions, Beyond Definition further establishes itself as a premier brand and marketing agency in the greater Washington, D.C. region.
“Our goal remains to push the boundaries of what’s possible for clients. In light of the year many organizations have faced, we will continue providing the experience and perspective clients need to thrive in 2021 and beyond,” concluded Bates-Schrott.
