This year, digitalNow’s Conference is celebrating 20 years of leadership in the digital age. Beyond Definition’s President, Mark DeVito will be speaking for the second year in-a-row at digitalNow, the three-day summit covering issues facing association leaders today.
Mark will lead a session, “The 2020 Brand Experience,” discussing the need to be on the pulse of everchanging association audiences to anticipate their needs and provide solutions. Beyond Definition is also a proud Resource Center Partner for the event, which will take place April 15-17th at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Florida.
Today’s member-based audiences are continually changing. Getting in front of their needs and understanding what they want from their relationship with your association brand can be challenging, frustrating, and hard to isolate.
Mark DeVito will be joined by Yumi Belanga, MOAA’s Sr. Director of Digital Programs to discuss MOAA’s new website experience that puts their audience first. Yumi will explore the importance of mapping and analyzing the customer journey, building personas, driving connective digital content experiences, but most of all, phasing the work and your goals to manage the never-ending, ongoing marketing strategies that associations face today.
MOAA’s website curates content based on the user’s profile and their linked person – every user experience is tailored. But how do you arrive here and what do you do once you are here? Yumi and Mark will discuss what it took to make this experience positive for both the audience and internal teams. Her team and partners of nine, plus support staff, and Beyond Definition as an agency partner created a strong foundation for the future, customizing marketing strategies to MOAA’s multi-layered audience needs.
Starting with internal leadership and a strong desire to change the paradigm, the session will dig deeper with this one-on-one conversation and presentation.
Throughout digitalNow’s 20-year journey, C-suite executives have gathered to foresee future innovations, avoided disruptions of dot.coms, discovered the fundamental technology infrastructure needed to compete, and honed in on new value of digital transformation.
After surveying attendees from 2019, it’s clear 2020’s event must focus on closing the gap between strategy and execution, which is all about leadership in this digital age. As a Resource Center Partner, attendees are encouraged to meet with Debbie Bates-Schrott, CEO/Founder of Beyond Definition and Mark at Beyond Definition’s exhibition table to talk about how the agency can help with closing the gap.
